I think the problem with the Internet is that the feedback mechanism that would normally guide fundamentally good but misguided people back to the mean has been broken, often by naive nerds with good intentions, and those people who are at that mean have been conditioned not to interfere by those same forces. →

I will probably buy the first generation Apple watch because I am a nerd and I like nerd toys, but I would be surprised if it turned out to be more than a novelty I keep forgetting to put on in the morning. →
