Cat-Strangling

by Charles Miller on April 26, 2003

Whilst strolling across Circular Quay, userinfodevilfish and I had one of our “agree to disagree” moments. This time, though, it wasn't about religion or capitalism, it was about bagpipes.

I detest bagpipes.

Even when played perfectly, the bagpipe sounds like a cat being strangled. It is an instrument with no reason to exist. Scottish armies used the bagpipe as a way to intimidate armies with better taste in music.

If there is one musical instrument I would love to see obliterated, that's it.
