I used to think that comments on YouTube were horrible, but now I only read them when I want to laugh, because they are often as funny as this example. I would challenge you to find a site with funnier comments.
I suspect this is an eternal, unchanging part of human discourse. Perhaps if we look hard enough we may find a washroom stall somewhere with the following exchange scratched into the enamel:
...coals to Newcastle...
