Full of (Cold) Air

The other day I ordered upgrades for iLife and iWork, on the grounds that I'd end up buying them anyway and there was no point putting off the inevitable.

I ordered them together, but they arrived (at the same time) in separate boxes, like so:

I wonder, since online shopping really started taking off, how much money and effort has been expended shipping plastic bladders full of air around the world?

So, are you buying a MacBook Pro straight away as well?

Dell once shipped me four minicule screws for a laptop video card each in their own separate little plastic bag each in their own electrostatic foam-lined cardboard box!

Invest in packaged air!

Over in UK, every is buying satnav and every satnav requires one or two suction cups. Invest in suction cups is my advice.

Big box, small package -- what the Kama Sutra calls the congress of the hippo and the gnat (or would, if they had hippos in India)
