Google the Ouroboros?

I was ego-surfing for Confluence references in Google this evening when I came across the following rather surprising sight:

The search results actually contained a reference to... the results page for a completely different Google search.

Is Google finally devouring itself?

http://www.google.com/palm looks like a neat little thing. I'll have to think of some uses for it.

Something fishy does seem to be happening...

for example, when looking for "Ford Evil Twin Commercial"

carlos blog is first result, which has the google search in it's refererer list on the left pane.

Me thinks the snake will choke on its tail.
