Dear Apple Store, Australia. If my copy of OS X 10.3 (Panther) does not arrive today, you will almost certainly be indirectly responsible for my death... after I am lynched by co-workers annoyed at my constant whining that it hasn't arrived yet.
I would suggest you send flowers to my funeral, but on current form they wouldn't arrive until the Monday after I was buried.
Your faithful customer,
Charles
Update: half an hour later...

Do as I did - just walk to your local NextByte retailer and buy it off the shelf. I even got a free Panther t-shirt for doing that :) Did the AppleStore ship those?

Really, it's my fault for pre-ordering before I found out that it was due for release on a Friday. It's more fun to blame someone else though.
In Australia it was released on Saturday wasn't it? That's when I literally walked across the road from my building here in Melbourne to buy it off the shelf at an Apple dealer. I'm a bit pissed having had to pay $229 for it though.
Also, their smallest sized Panther shirt at that time was large and it's huge.
At least you got a box. Goofy as it sounds, the packaging for the other Apple products I've bought has been so sharp, I was looking forward to the whole unboxing experience.
For whatever reason, Apple U.S. sent Panther (at least to me) in a plain manilla envelope containing an overview pamphlet, install instructions, licensing, and the discs. Bleh.
On the bright side, Panther seems very, very cool. Also, don't watch the installer or you will go insane as it (slowly) installs support for every language on Earth.
