In The Matrix: Reloaded Agent Smith attaches himself to and invades other entities in The Matrix, who then are forced to become him. This allows him to replicate over and over again, and thrive.
It only occurred to me this morning.
Agent Smith has re-licensed himself under the GPL.
Suddenly it all makes sense.
I've always found the "viral" tag thrown at the GPL puzzling, because I can't remember the last time I made the conscious decision to become infected by a virus. The hapless Matrix folk who Agent Smith invades and gets killed certainly didn't volunteer for the position; you demonstrate this flaw in the analogy quite beautifully.
You can tell that site you link to is credible from the error in the fourth (non-quoted) sentence, and the bit where he calls people "Nazis". Surely there must be a non-insane person's who offers an argument against the GPL out there?
So, Neo is Microsoft ... He's against any GPL programs !
I posted a GPL criticism I while back at...

No. The Matrix is Microsoft: a user-hostile behemoth that runs the whole world without its knowledge.
Neo is Apple. Stylish and kicks ass.
