A Sydney council has rejected an application from a resident who wanted to set up a Moslem prayer centre. Apparently they received over 5,000 official complaints citing “Safety concerns about the centre's demographic.”

I'm ashamed to be Australian right now. How have we let the race-baiting fear-mongers in our government and media so totally divorce us from reality?
